Extremely happy and satisfied with the new project designed for Salvatori.

After curating the visuals for the openings in New York and London - four hands with Kuchar Swara - Salvatori opened in Dubai on November 11th at the prestigious, high-profile art and design gallery.

The mand behind the brand which I boldly designed in 2023 is still alive and well, and indeed, radiantly projected towards a new great achievement.

Making marble a "light element" has always been my philosophy for this special brand.

 

Under the impeccable artistic direction of Collectional in the person of Sophia Kettani we created an invitation that represented a story/brand telling of this new exceptional achievement, bringing Italian design to the Middle East.

 The invitation was inspired by the works of the artist Piero Manzoni.

INVITATION PROPOSAL | SALVATORI - STONE INNOVATION

Inspired by an awesome Italian company - SALVATORI | STONE INNOVATION - I've created a proposal of invitation for their 70th Anniversary.
One of the most important element for me was to create "something where something happens" which can eventually "give a 10 seconds emotion" to the person who is opening it.
The kind of paper for the pop-up has been a risolutive choice: transparent but matt. Is the paper used by the architects, has a "mineral" look, and was perfect to host a marble pattern. I also wanted a sound effect which could accompany the opening of the pop-up...and it happens that really suggest you the sound of stones.
Two gold-foil printed cardboards close and protect the pop-up.
