"Just coasters" x GIlda Forte dei Marmi

I'm taking care of @gildafdm for about 3 years now. (finally I've grabbed some time to post something).

I manage almost the full spectrum of their brand identity, guided by the foundational concepts originally envisioned by super wow @pierolissoni. I know, it's just a coaster, but for me it's like a manifesto, even at its smallest scale, can convey atmophere (and a souvenir after the drink :)

Last year I was commissioned by GILDA Forte dei Marmi to redesign their website.

Photographs, illustrations, texts, and code come together seamlessly in this project. It took time, care, and dedication: selecting the best shots from Mattia Aquila’s amazing photoshoot, building a custom structure, and coordinating with the brilliant web designer @andreadalleluche .
My main goal was to bring the digital identity of GILDA Forte dei Marmi to life in a fresh way, capturing what I believe is the true essence of Forte dei Marmi since the 1980s.
Every section of the menu now has its own unique personality: the restaurant, the beach club, and Villa Gilda. Instead of relying on boring, standard templates, my concept was to give the place a real soul and celebrate its beauty. True to my style, illustrations became the ultimate tool for expression, using simple lines and objects to add a touch of surreality and grace.

SALVATORI OPENING IN DUBAI presented by COLLECTIONAL | Eden House

Extremely happy and satisfied with the new project designed for Salvatori.

After curating the visuals for the openings in New York and London - four hands with Kuchar Swara - Salvatori opened in Dubai on November 11th at the prestigious, high-profile art and design gallery.

The mand behind the brand which I boldly designed in 2023 is still alive and well, and indeed, radiantly projected towards a new great achievement.

Making marble a "light element" has always been my philosophy for this special brand.

Under the impeccable artistic direction of Collectional in the person of Sophia Kettani we created an invitation that represented a story/brand telling of this new exceptional achievement, bringing Italian design to the Middle East.

In occasion of Ludovico Einaudi's world tour I've been asked to develope more material inspired by his mood and music.

Illustrations made for Ludovico Einaudi "The Summer Portraits" 2025

On occasion of Ludovico Einaudi's new album I've designed some merch.

It was a four-handed effort made with Ludovico who has sent me some doodles (the dog is its dog!) and I've designed a bunch of others.

My intention of using the illustration technique was to expand and make universal those presences, elements and special situations that only the magic of summer gives us.

CATALOGUE "SPAGHETTI TAPWARE" DESIGNED BY ELISA OSSINO. ART D: KUCHAR SWARA

It happens that an award-winning multidisciplinary creative director named Kuchar Swara ( creative director of the Daily Telegraph by the way) asks for a "twist" on Salvatori's new catalogue: "Spaghetti Tapware".... this is what I call an awesome (tricky) challenge!

Kuchar found that the illustrations I'd drawn a few weeks earlier on the occasion of the opening of Salvatori's showroom in Soho N.Y., the perfect inspiration to give the catalogue "that touch".

Well I think we've achieved it.

I've always been inspired by Saul Steinberg soul and hand. I've imagined something surreal, ironic and graceful "playing" scenes with the tape are collection designs by Elisa Ossino.

I do really hope you love it.
